Minnesota in April is a beautiful, ever-changing month. It can be 70 degrees on Saturday and 30 degrees (with snow!) on Wednesday.
And in this changing atmosphere, as we celebrate spring’s awakening with the first tree buds, we also celebrate Autism Awareness month. This is a national opportunity to promote awareness, inclusion, and self-determination for all. ASD affects each individual and each family in a completely different way, and April is a time when we can come together and show the neurotypical among us how ASD touches our lives.
We are so looking forward to joining AuSM at several of their Autism Awareness month events in April, 2017. Hope to see you there!
