FAQs
Q. How do I know if I need a 3/8″, 1/2" or 9/16" diameter Strong Tube for my child?
A. It depends upon how old your child is. We recommend the 3/8″ diameter tube for children under 6 years old. If your child is older than 6, the 3/8″ tube is still a good choice as you will notice less drool when they use it, but since the child is older, may require a stronger tube like the 1/2" or even the 9/16".
Q. What is your strongest product?
A. The Big Strong Tube 9/16" is our strongest product. It is backed by a 60-day, No-Chew-Thru warranty.
Q. How hard/firm are the Strong Tubes?
A. The tubes are 95A in durometer which means they are fairly firm. The hollow void in the tubing softens the firmness up quite a bit and keeps the tube fun to chew.
Q. My child is biting the clip end of the tether. How do I discourage this?
A. We suggest that you attach the clip end of the tether high up on your child’s shoulder (or even behind the collar) so that it is difficult to reach to chew on this end of the tether.
Q. What is the best way to wash my ChuBuddy chew holder?
A. Wash chew holders and universal chew straps with warm, soapy water. They can be placed in the dishwasher, but it may cause discoloration over time.
Q. Which chew is best for my child?
A. That depends on a few things. Are your chews getting chewed through in less than a month? If so, you may want to try our ChewFactor 3 Strong chews. Please go to the ChewFactor 3 Strong Chews page.
Q. How do I get a product replacement per the 60-day, No-Chew-Thru warranty?
A. Please email info@chubuddy.com with an explanation of the damage and include a photo of the damaged product. We will offer a refund or a replacement on a case-by-case basis.
